Tell me about the computer(s) that you work on... I'm rather curious on spec's (ram, processor, screen, desktop/laptop), os, etc... What year did you buy the system? Was it a prebuilt system or did you make it yourself?

My primary machine is a Dell Inspiron 4150 laptop... I bought it in 2000 or so? It's literally falling apart lol... The monitor hinge snapped so it's always open, so no it's not mobile at all...

The spec's on it are:
Operating System: Windows XP Professional SP2
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 Mobile CPU 1.60GHz
Graphics: ATI Technologies Inc. MOBILITY RADEON 7500 AGP (0x4C57) 32.0MB
Resolution: 1400x1050 32bit 60Hz
Memory: 1 GB
Disk Space: 40 GB

Right now the only machine I have running is an Everex SA2053T laptop. It's quite a bit newer than James' (I bought it a little over year ago) but should be getting replaced as the primary machine in the near future. I've got a few systems I'm looking to acquire and/or build so I'll post them here as that happens.

The specs on the laptop are:
Operating System: Windows Vista Home
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2080 CPU (1.73GHz/1MB)
Resolution: 1280x800
Memory: 1GB DDRII 533
Disk Space: 100GB

You use the word "workin" pretty lightly, don't you?

Vista + "Work" + proper = utter nonsense...

I've actually rolled several clients back to WXP from Vista... Some manufacturers refuse to provide you with necessary drivers, so it takes a while to find XP compatible ones...
