I don't have a terribly high amount of data that needs backing up, so I just save the bigger stuff to CD-R and the rest of the stuff that needs saving on a USB drive and I have a SD card that everything on the USB drive gets copied to. Not a technique I would necessarily recommend, but for the time being, it works for me.
